Calibration Readiness

Calibration learns from real sales outcomes. Before it can suggest better scoring weights, it needs enough of them. The readiness strip on the calibration review page tells you exactly how close you are, so nobody has to guess when suggestions will appear.

Why Readiness Matters

When your conversion definition is set to Sales Disposition (or Manually Labeled outcomes), calibration waits until your team has logged enough outcomes to learn from. Two thresholds gate it:

  • 30 logged outcomes. Calibration unlocks weight suggestions once at least 30 qualifying outcomes (leads marked Qualified (SQL) or Closed Won) have been logged on scored leads within your look-back window.
  • 50 scored leads. Calibration also needs a base of at least 50 scored leads in the same window, so the comparison has something to measure against.

Until both thresholds are met, the readiness strip shows your progress rather than an error. This turns "we're not sure why there are no suggestions" into "we need 8 more outcomes."

Where to Find It

Go to Configure > Scoring > Calibration Review. The readiness strip sits at the top of the calibration review card and shows:

  • How many qualifying outcomes you've logged in the window, and how many you still need (for example, "22 of 30 outcomes logged — 8 more unlock weight suggestions").
  • Your scored-lead cohort and its 50-lead floor.
  • How many new outcomes have been logged since calibration last ran.
  • When calibration last ran.

Once you cross 30 logged outcomes, the strip confirms that weight suggestions are now live.

Recalibrate Now

Calibration runs automatically on a schedule, once a week by default. But when a burst of new outcomes comes in, you may not want to wait for the next run.

When new outcomes have been logged since the last run, a Recalibrate Now button appears on the readiness strip. Clicking it requests an immediate recalibration for your active Organizational Unit. The new suggestions appear on the calibration review page when the run finishes a short while later.

You can recalibrate at any time once a conversion definition is configured. If none is set, the button is unavailable. Set one under Govern > Org Units.

Staying in the Loop From Slack

If Slack is connected, kenbun keeps your team informed without anyone opening the app:

  • Below the floor, after a weekly run, kenbun posts a progress update (for example, "22 of 30 outcomes logged — keep logging to unlock weight suggestions").
  • The first time you cross 30 logged outcomes, kenbun posts a one-time message confirming that weight suggestions are now live.
  • Once suggestions are flowing, the weekly payoff message summarizes what your team's feedback produced (see Applying Suggested Weights).

These messages are controlled by the Disposition Nudges settings under Settings → Integrations → Slack. See the Slack integration guide for details.

Troubleshooting

"The readiness strip shows zeros." Your OU may not have a conversion definition configured. Set one to Sales Disposition under Govern > Org Units, then keep logging outcomes as reps work leads.

"I crossed 30 outcomes but still see no suggestions." Check the scored-lead cohort. Calibration also needs at least 50 scored leads in the look-back window. If the cohort is below 50, give it more time or a longer look-back window.

"I clicked Recalibrate Now but nothing changed yet." Recalibration runs in the background and takes a short while. Refresh the calibration review page after a minute or two.
